A quiet box for the festive season

The short answer
For Gleneagles Hospital Johor’s year-end gifts to corporate partners, referring doctors and insurers, we designed a deep green gift box with gold foil and small festive drawings on every side. It gave the hospital a warm, quiet way to say thank you that suits a hospital, at a time of year that is usually loud and bright.

As 2025 came to an end, Gleneagles Hospital Johor wanted to send a small gift to the people it works with all year. The box was ours to design.

A thank-you for the people they work with

The gifts went to the hospital’s corporate partners, referring doctors and insurers. The gift inside was small, so the box had to carry most of the message. It is the first thing a partner sees, so it needed to say thank you before the lid came off.

A warm, quiet mood

Festive packaging is often bright and busy. For this box, we wanted a warm, quiet and peaceful mood, closer to a calm evening at home than a party. That suits a hospital brand, where care and calm matter. So the base is a deep green, and the greeting is short: “Joyous”, with “Happy Holidays & New Year 2026” set small beside it.

Small drawings on every side

Around the greeting sit many small festive drawings: a robin, baubles, holly, pine, acorns, gifts and snowflakes, in soft teal, red and gold. They frame the lid and continue around all four sides, so the box looks finished from every angle, on a desk or handed over in person.

Gold foil kept it elegant

On a deep green board, gold foil does a lot of quiet work. It catches the light on the greeting and the small details without shouting. When the printed boxes came in, the finish gave us the balance we wanted: quiet and elegant at the same time.

The printing came out beautifully. On a corporate gift box, the gold foil is what makes it quiet and elegant at the same time.
